This page lists all the nominations for Featured status. The Rafiqan monitor this page and the voting process.
Featured is the highest level an article can achieve, and as such, it must meet certain requirements.
…be well-written and detailed.
…be unbiased, non-point of view.
…be sourced with all available references and appearances.
…follow the Manual of Style, Layout Guide, and all other wiki policies.
…not be tagged with any sort of improvement tags.
…have a proper lead, with a undetailed résumé of the article's contents.
…have no more than 6 redlinks and none in the introduction, infobox, or any templates.
…have significant information from all sources and appearances, especially a biography for character articles.
…provide at least one quote on the article.
…preferably include a "personality and characteristics" section on all character articles.
…include at least 2 images of sufficient quality to illustrate the article, if said images are available.
…pass review by the Bureau review panel.
If the article meets at least 5 of the prerequisites, the article is permitted to be held for nomination.
How to nominate:
First, nominate an article you find is worthy of Featured status, putting it at the bottom of the list below.
Others will object to the nomination if they disagree that the article is not good enough; they will then supply reasons for doing so, and ways to improve the article (errors, style, organization, images, notability, sources).
Supporters adjust the article until the objectors (with reasonable objections) are satisfied.
The article is placed on the Featured article list and categorized as such.
Also, if, at least a week after the article's nomination, that article has 5 Bureau supports and no objections (or the objections have been stricken or overridden), it will be added to the queue, and will be officially known as a "Featured article."
How to vote:
Before doing anything, be sure to read the article completely, keeping a sharp eye out for mistakes.
Afterwards, compare the article to the criteria listed above, and then either support or object the article's nomination.
Please note that in order for your vote to count, you must have at least 50 mainspace edits.
If you object, please supply concrete reasons for doing so, and how it can be improved.
As stated above, any objections will be looked upon by the nominator, supporters, and anyone willing to improve the article, and action will be taken to please the objectors. Do not strike other users' objections; it is up to the objector to review the changes and strike if they are satisfied.
Once the article has at least five supporting Bureau votes and no outstanding objections after at least a week, the article will be added to the queue and be officially known as a "Featured article." Non-Bureau members are also encouraged to review articles and participate in the process.
Also remember to add {{NomF}}at the top of the article you are nominating.
It's been a week now, and we have seven Yay's and zero Nay's. NestyContact me!19:36, September 10, 2012 (UTC)

The article was already in a pretty good shape, so I only had to do some minor cleaning up. I think it's ready now, but if you disagree, please let me know and I will fix whatever complaint you have. Thanks for voting, people :) NestyContact me! 09:13, September 4, 2012 (UTC)

So... Dilara. Go ahead and start voting people! If something is wrong, not good enough, or not pretty enough, feel free to let me know and I'll fix it up. That's all, I think.. NestyContact me! 10:59, September 12, 2012 (UTC)

Wow, I learned a lot more about her character than I thought I knew. An informative read. -- ► Kaloneous ◄ ♣HelpDesk♣ 12:20, September 12, 2012 (UTC)
This page seems a lot more active when Nesty's around ;) ~ GI AuditoreComms Channel 12:57, September 12, 2012 (UTC)
Yay from me as well, the quotes in particular seem well placed. =GuardDog 13:08, September 12, 2012 (UTC)
Really good, I learnt quite a bit too :) KaiserC (talk) 16:52, September 12, 2012 (UTC)

On a side note, Nesty, would you mind if I gave myself a UserFA template for this article if it passes? I did a revamp to it back in January, and wrote more than half the content :) (Just asking, as you have the responsibility as nominator.) =GuardDog 13:08, September 12, 2012 (UTC)
Of course, Guard. Anyone who did a substantial amount of work on the page has the right to use the userbox. :) NestyContact me! 13:32, September 12, 2012 (UTC)
There we go. --NOSTALGIATALK 23:08, February 5, 2013 (UTC)
Given that I went over it and made some corrections, I figure that I should put my support down here. ;) Slate Vesper (talk) 03:44, February 6, 2013 (UTC)

It needs some more images (specifically towards the end of his biography and subsequent sections), and the main quote needs to be shortened. Fix those things and I'll lend a Yay vote. --NOSTALGIATALK 22:18, February 3, 2013 (UTC)
Please take another look - shortened the main quote and Kain added images. NestyContact me! 11:42, February 4, 2013 (UTC)
Main quote looks good now, though the personality and legacy sections still need more images. Also, the traitor at West Point part of the biography could use some images--if any are available. --NOSTALGIATALK 22:10, February 4, 2013 (UTC)
Yeah, I know - problem is, there aren't any since it's a PS exclusive DLC and no one seems to be capable of taking proper quality images of the PS. And I removed the Romantic Life section, seeing as we don't need an entire section just to say that he didn't have any. NestyContact me! 04:20, February 5, 2013 (UTC)
Its been a week, and we have plenty yays versus no nays. Congrats, GI. NestyContact me! 12:22, February 13, 2013 (UTC)

Just finished a merge/expansion on this and Nesty said I should nominate it for FA once done. This is my first time revamping something to FA so please suggest any improvements I could make. :) ~ GI AuditoreComms Channel 11:27, February 6, 2013 (UTC)

Did a complete overhaul of the article. Wording and content are thorough and up to par, though certain parts of the biography lack images or quotes because none are available as he is not seen and/or heard during any of those times. I also did some last minute work with Storm, and he agrees it's worthy. --NOSTALGIATALK 07:27, February 10, 2013 (UTC)
As one of the users here, i shall approve to this vote... This decision is final and cannot be compromised/removed... AnsweratioNCoffee Maybe?Wisdom words 16:12, March 8, 2013 (UTC)
It could be a little more in-depth on the privateer contracts, though nothing major. NestyContact me! 17:00, March 8, 2013 (UTC)

I hope I'm doing this right. So, as part of my current Apprentice Assignment, I am to get three articles to status, of which good ol' Gérald is the first. I'd like to extend my thanks again to Kain, who I've basically been hounding for screenshots ever since mid-February... and will continue to hound for quite some time, I think :P
If there's anything that you think can be improved, please tell me and I will try to fix it. I want to make this article the very best it can be :) I think that is all, so thanks in advance for reading. CrookThe Constantine District 21:49, March 31, 2014 (UTC)

Here's hoping Élise goes as smoothly as Gérald :)
Thanks to everybody who voted last time, really happy about the positive reception. As before, if there's anything that you believe can be improved, please don't hesitate to say so. Thanks in advance for reading. CrookThe Constantine District 13:26, April 8, 2014 (UTC)
Holy crap, been ages since I've seen an FA nomination... I really need to check the Wiki more often. ;_; --TellerWords, On my Screen :O 10:40, April 12, 2014 (UTC)
Hey guys. G here and I'm trying to get the FA status for the Modern times page as part of my apprenticeship. For the past few weeks, Molotov and I added more content to it as it was badly outdated with Slate and Rag helping us with the wording. We added it with more photos, a quote, and contents from Brahman and Initiates. If there is something wrong about the page, please feel free to tell me in my talk page and with no more further ado, let's start the voting! (Thanks to my mentor, Teller for motivating me for this project!) --AgentG231 (talk) 00:50, April 25, 2014 (UTC)

Nay
My reasoning is similar to Slate, it's just I'm more than comfortable spiting you with a nay vote but I'm also not sure if this article really stands up the status of other featured articles. It's not a bad article by any means; it's informative and encompasses a lot of facts, but I just don't think that this is the kind of article that should be featured. --Crimson KnightIntercom 18:38, April 26, 2014 (UTC)
Crimson and I came to the same decision, for the same reasons. Stormbeast♉The Helpful Place 04:04, May 1, 2014 (UTC)
Blergh. I really hate voting nay, but oh well. Many of the sections are way too short. I understand that, sometimes, there is just not enough information to make them larger, but in that case you should either merge it with other sections or find another way to expand on them. And yeah, then there is the constant adding factor, but I suppose that can be easily helped by a few users pledging to keep the page in shape, which I am willing to assist with. NestyContact me! 07:09, May 1, 2014 (UTC)
Also don't like saying nay, but it must be done. 1-2 sentence paragraphs are not OK, and they are right that the sections are too short. Try consolidating it so it looks like a piece of professional writing, and put it back up for vote. Content-wise, it looks good, but structurally it does not. I'd be happy to take a look at it for you at any time during the restructuring process -- hit up the Raven's Nest any time to let me know, or r.msg me. While I'm not going to spite you with a Nay vote, I do not think I should vote on the outcome of the page with the article subject being as it is. Modern times is always going to be added to, and I'd rather not vote a page to Featured Status if the ruling is going to be invalidated constantly (with Initiates) or on a yearly basis (with a new game). Slate Vesper (talk) 02:13, April 26, 2014 (UTC)
While I've already put in my yay vote, I will say that this concern makes sense to me. Hopefully we can get some input from a few more people on this before it closes. -Molotov.cockroach (talk) 18:18, April 26, 2014 (UTC)
You have your point Slate. But if it will pass the FA nom, we will make sure that even though this article needs to be updated every now and then, we can work together to make this article still worthy for FA (that's how a wiki works right?). --AgentG231 (talk) 00:21, April 27, 2014 (UTC)
Perhaps, but you do have to consider that with the release of new games, it can be revamp every time, due to any minor clues resolved with new lore, in addition to the bulk of modern day story. I fear that with Ubisoft's insistence on an annual cycle, it could be left to slip back into that sort of condition. Slate Vesper (talk) 22:20, April 27, 2014 (UTC)
I found the suggestions here useful and updated the Modern times page with them in mind, though not specifically to sway any opinions. If anyone has any further suggestions, please let us know. -Molotov.cockroach (talk) 20:22, May 3, 2014 (UTC)
