Early Undocumented History

Pre-2nd Millennium BCE

  • The city of Rajastan, India is irradiated by a Piece of Eden. [4] This is probably a reference to a piece of news floating on the Internet (One such example) claiming that scientists discovered the city to be highly irradiated from an atomic blast that occured between 10,000 BCE to 6,000 BCE.

  • The city of Forli is "founded" by Palaeolithic cavemen. [5]

  • August 11: The Mayan Long Count Calendar begins at 13.0.0.0.0. This starts the countdown to the Abstergo Satellite launch in December 2012. [7]

Prehistory

  • The stories of Those Who Came Before and their children, happening in this period, would later be retold as mythologies in Ancient Greek. The Glyphs name this period as "Prehistory" [8], yet these events precedes the Trojan War, and is thus listed under the 2nd Millennium BCE.
  • Zeus, one of Those Who Came Before, rapes Io, a human. Io gives birth to Epaphus. [8]
  • Zeus rapes Europa, a human, giving birth to Minos, Rhadamanthys and Sarpedon. [8]
  • Zeus and Danaë, a human, gives birth to Perseus. [8]
  • Perseus slays Medusa with the Sword. [9]
  • Zeus seduces Leda, a human, as a swan. Leda gives birth to Helen of Troy. [8]

  • August: Boris Yeltsin, another Templar, stands up to Mikhail Gorbachev's ideologies and Gorbachev loses popularity. [47]
  • December: Boris Yeltsin unseats Mikhail Gorbachev in a secret meeting at the Belavezhskaya Forest and becomes the first President of Russia. [47]

1992

  • Under Boris Yeltsin's capitalistic rule, Russian economy opens to elite oligarchs and private companies. [47]
  • The British Petroleum, a Templar organization, phones Alfa Bank and discusses oil deals. [47]

1993

  • The Constitutional Court and the Parliament is disbanded by Boris Yeltsin. [47]
  • 2.5 billion in aid from the U.S. Congress is sent to Boris Yeltsin after the disbandment. [47]

1999

  • Robert Getas contacts Vanessa for the first time. [15]

21st Century

  • The Templars and Assassins both attempt to gain control over the United States during the presidential campaign; with George W. Bush as the Templar-backed candidate and Al Gore as the Assassin-backed candidate. [48]
  • December: Antonin Scalia, a Templar, writes a letter to "S.", detailing their plans to destroy the Campaign Finance laws. [48]

2001

  • Don Evans, Paul Wolfowitz, Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney and George W. Bush, all Templars, begins their positions as the U.S. Commerce Secretary, U.S. Deputy Secretary of Defense, U.S. Defense Secretary, Vice President of the U.S. and President of the United States respectively. [48]
  • October 6: The day is marked as "IRemember" in the code found in the Animus. [17]

2002

  • March 21: The day is marked as "BlackHills" in the code found in the Animus. [17]

2003

  • Desmond Miles, an Assassin, escapes the Farm - an Assassin Hideout - and starts working as a bartender.
  • Desmond Miles buys a motorcycle.
  • December 19: The Mars Express Orbiter hurls the Beagle 2 towards Mars. [15]
  • December 25:
    • Vanessa, a scientist working for the Beagle 2 launch, and other scientists from the LOCC awaits confirmation of Beagle 2 landing on Mars. [15]
    • Vanessa steals data on the landing, and is killed when a trade goes foul. [15]

2004

  • Don Evans, a Templar, steps down as the U.S. Commerce Secretary. [48]
  • November: Gary, a CIA agent, finds out about Abstergo and their links to numerous commerical organizations. He plans to publish a book about his findings but is stopped by Templar agents. [49]

2005

  • Donald Rumsfeld, a Templar, steps down as the U.S. Defense Secretary. [48]
  • The "Second Plague", or the "L-11 Outbreak", occurs. 96% of the Africa population dies and Africa becomes uninhabited. [7]

  • April: A man named Mr. Jameson finds out Abstergo's CCTV used to spy on civilians. He and his son are promptly disposed by Templar agents. [50]

2012

  • January: The head of the Abstergo Industries left the company to an unknown person. [51]
  • August 27: Abstergo's Animus software is upgraded to version 1.28. [19][11]
  • September 1:
  • September 3:
    • The Global Weather Association abolishes the term 'Hurricane Season' due to increasingly erratic weather patterns. [7]
    • Eye-Abstergo postpones the launch of their first satellite until December 21st. [7]
  • September 4:
    • The E.U. and U.S. begin construction of jointly owned oil platforms in the Weddell Sea. [7]
  • September 6:
    • The water supply of a small town is tampered, leading to hundreds being hospitalized.
    • The "Fluoride Enhancement Studies" documents is leaked from Abstergo Industries, as a result, Abstergo Holdings is accused to be behind the plot. [7]
  • The last movie studio in the USA closes. [7]
  • The findings from Desmond's journey into the Animus is downloaded onto the secure terminal in the conference room. [7]
  • September 7:
    • The President of Mexico promises to ramp up border security to stop American refugees. [7]
    • Abstergo Industries finish cleaning up the mess left by the DIA incident. [7]
    • Abstergo Industries learn the locations of all of the Pieces of Eden through using Desmond Miles in the Animus. [19]
    • The Grail is removed from Abstergo's list of objectives. [41]
    • The examination of the Crystal Skulls by the Abstergo agents is completed. [41]
  • September 8
    • A talk is held and plans to divide up Africa, devastated by a plague, are discussed. [7]
    • Desmond Miles escapes Abstergo Industries, along with Lucy Stillman. [19][11]
    • They retreat to an Assassin Hideout where he meets fellow Assassins Rebecca Crane and Shaun Hastings.
    • Desmond Miles is introduced to the Animus 2.0 and relives key moments of Ezio Auditore's life. [27]
  • September 9:
  • September 19:
    • Desmond is reported to be screaming loudly during his sleep. [52]
  • September 26: A white van is parked near the Villa Auditore. Rebecca Crane suspects it to be surveillance gear. [52]
  • October 10:
  • December 21: This is the scheduled launch date of an Abstergo satellite. The satellite will be mounted with a Piece of Eden as part of the Templars' plan to control the minds of humans and ensure "absolute peace". [7][51]
