Afterlives

Looks like there might be some notes in those that we are missing. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 02:25, June 14, 2020 (UTC)

datamined

So I'm going through text datamined from the game and finding a bunch of what seem like notes missing from this page but I'm not exactly sure of region, circustance, (ie mission only), or cut content. I'd still like to add them an for now will most likely make a sandbox for them in the near future. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 07:03, July 11, 2020 (UTC)

Other options for the name

I really don't like this name. Are there any other options we can think of that sounds more specific to the subject? "Notes encountered by Bayek" probably sounds too awkward though... But I should also point out that not all the notes he encounters are technically found in Egypt or are written by Egyptians. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 07:35, July 11, 2020 (UTC)

I want to add on to this now that we have Valhalla which wouldn't fall under a single country either. I propose changing this article to Miscellaneous Notes which is still a terrible name but would allow them on one article. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 03:44, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
I want to bring this mater up again. The current title is a misnomer. Also do we know if every one of these were written in the Egyptian language? Because that's also what the title sounds like. If, however, they are all written in the Egyptian language, it may be a unifying element, so the title may not be that bad after all. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 19:44, 17 June 2022 (UTC)
Give the amount of notes in culturally roman and Greek dominant areas it is highly unlikely that all the notes are actually written in Demotic. Also I want to preemptively say no to Bayek’s notes as he is neither the writer nor recipient of the notes nor does he actively collect them. If we want to kept the notes separated by game but without using the animus model or session to distinguish might I suggest Ptolemaic era notes which matches well with Viking expansion notes.Lacrossedeamon (talk) 07:44, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
Ptolemaic era notes sounds like a good solution to me. Kennyannydenny (talk) 07:49, 18 June 2022 (UTC)

I didn't realize that I neglected to get back to this topic. Ptolemaic-era notes is not a great name because the Ptolemaic period lasted centuries, so the title implies a broader scope for the content of the page. But it is at least less misleading than Egyptian notes. I personally would not mind Notes from Bayek's travels or Notes along Bayek's travels at this point. I agree with the above name. Raythehiddenone (talk) 23:45, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
