William Heselrig (died 1297) was an English soldier and Sheriff of Lanark. Placed into his position by Edward I of England to hold the city and its surroundings with an iron fist, Heselrig became a target of the Scottish Brotherhood of Assassins.[1]

Though not directly a Templar, Heselrig was a close associate and assisted the Lann Fala after the massacre at Berwick. As part of William Wallace's plans, Heselrig was killed by Wallace and James of Crannach.[1]
