The Stiletto was an obtainable weapon during the Renaissance period. The Assassin Ezio Auditore could purchase this weapon from blacksmiths located in the Italian cities of Florence, Monteriggioni, Tuscany, Romagna, Venice, and Rome. He could also purchase a variation this weapon from the blacksmiths in the Turkish city of Constantinople.

Trivia

  • In-game, the stiletto knife is shown as being used by Ezio in a slashing attack. This would not be possible with a real stiletto as they were designed as a secondary thrusting and parrying weapon to be paired with a rapier or other light sword, and had a thick triangle shaped blade which made for easy piercing of the armor and the skull.
  • It also appears as a multiplayer weapon in Assassin's Creed Revelations
