Santiago de Compostela Cathedral

Santiago de Compostela Cathedral is a church in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.[1]

History

Circa 1492, the Spanish Brotherhood of Assassins was betrayed by Diego de Alvarado, who stole a piece of the Shattered Staff of Eden in Sobroso Castle[2] and left for a rendezvous with Inquisitor Gustavo Ramírez at the cathedral.[1]

The Assassins arrived at the cathedral and made their way to Alvarado and Ramírez, killing the Inquisition soldiers in their way. Ramírez mocked the Assassins for falling for Alvarado's ruse and called his lieutenants to fight them while he escaped with the piece of the Staff when Alvarado stabbed Ramírez in the back, wanting to bring the artifact to Tomás de Torquemada alone. The Assassins defeated the Inquisition liutenants before giving chase to Alvarado.[1]
