Rubbayat Necropolis composed of several tombs.

Rubbayat Necropolis was a tomb in Faiyum Oasis south of Philadelphia, situated in the base of a mountain of Haueris Nome. Its courtyard comprised of a statue of Serapis and a few market stalls. One tomb that was guarded by Greek soldiers held a chest of questionable contents hidden behind a tombstone. In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa raided the place after eliminating the guards,[1] then read two notes he found, one praising Serapis[2] and the other instructing the soldiers to seal the entrance and not touch any of the tomb's contents.[3]
