Pelias

Pelias was the steward of Apollodorus' Estate in the Kanopos Nome during the 1st century BCE.[1]

Biography

In around 48 BCE, Pelias sent Ruia, a young worker to retreive a letter from the pigeon tower. When she failed to return, he sent the Medjay, Bayek, to investigate and retrieve the letter. Bayek discovered Ruia's body in a nearby haystack, bringing her back to Pelias. From her body, Bayek discovered the letter and a badge which Pelias identified as belonging to Dymnos, the Master of Arms. While Bayek dealt with Dymnos, Pelias laid Ruia to rest. The Medjay later returned to him, reporting the Master of Arms' death and reason of his actions.[2]

Trivia

  • The name Pelias stands for "son of Poseidon."
