Palos de la Frontera is a town in the southwest of Spain, located in the province of Huelva.

In August 1492, it served as the location from which Christopher Columbus set sail on his voyage to the New World. Prior to his departure, its port was also the location where he was entrusted with an Apple of Eden by the Assassin Aguilar de Nerha.
