Biography
Opía Apito (c. 1695 – unknown) was a Taíno member of the Caribbean Brotherhood of Assassins in the leader of the Assassin bureau on the Cayman Islands.
Meeting Edward
Opía Apito first encountered Edward Kenway on Cayman Sound, who was looking for a templar key, and to make amends for his betrayal. She challenges him to a competition of hunting, which Edward wins when he kills a white tiger. She then sees Edward is skilled, and tells him to meet her at Grand Cayman.
Opía then instructs Edward to pickpocket a man named Alvin to get his ledger, and locate Vargas, an associate of Lucia Marquez. After they found where Vargas was, she knocked on his door and said that they were associates of Lucia's. Vargas then ran from them, and escaped to his ship, wherein a chase ensued, and Edward boarded his ship and killed him. In the memory corridor, Vargas revealed to Edward that Lucia went to Pinos Isle.
Once Opía and Edward drew Lucia out of hiding, Opía drew Lucia's fire while Edward easily assassinated the distracted templar.

- Opía Apito only speaks in the plural third person, using "we" instead of "I".
