Nathan Zhang is a Chinese criminal who serves as the leader of Doom Eagle, an international criminal organization based in Southeast Asia. A member of the Zhang family, he was related to Claire Zhang, the director of the Zhawang Corporation.
In the 2020s, Nathan was present at a dock in Macau in which the Exitus, an Abstergo research vessel led by the Templar Shimazu Sei departed for Cebu in the Philippines. While an operative of Zhawang Corporation was on the phone with Claire informing her of the vessel's status, Nathan snatched away the phone to talk to Claire, believing Abstergo was impolite for kidnapping the college student Noa Kim, whom he claimed was a family member. As Doom Eagle had an operation in the Philippines, Nathan asked Claire to leave the operation to rescue Noa to him, telling her his organization would be responsible for their dirty work.[1]
