Naaji was a Hidden One of the Alamut Brotherhood who operated in Baghdad in the 9th century.

Biography

Basim: "I cannot place your face, but you bear our mark."

Naaji: "I am Naaji, one of Mentor Rayhan's informers. I asked for a more difficult assignment but maybe I should not have."

In the 860s, Naaji was working under Mentor Rayhan as one of his informants in Baghdad to investigate the corruption and workings of Baghdad. Wanting a more dangerous mission, Naaji was assigned to track and assassinate two corrupt Abbasid Caliphate soldiers. Although determining their criminal activities, he hesitated to act on his mission. Soon, he approached fellow Hidden One Basim Ibn Ishaq, who spoke with him about his mission. When Basim offered his help, Naaji and him completed the mission with their targets killed. After the mission, Naaji met with Basim again at the Abbasiyah bureau.
