Ktesos
Ktesos (died 48 BCE), also known as The Ram, was a member of the Order of the Ancients active in Alexandria during the reign of Ptolemy XIII as an officer of the Pharaoh's royal guard.
Biography
In 48 BCE, Ktesos was targeted by the Medjay Bayek and his wife Aya in the mistaken belief that he was one of the five masked Order members responsible for the death of their son Khemu during a failed attempt to access an Isu vault in Siwa.[1]
After Aya assassinated his friend Actaeon, a fellow Order member, in Alexandria, Ktesos tracked her down to her home. There, he met a brutal end at the hands of his quarry, who was subsequently forced into hiding to avoid reprisal from the city's Phylakitai.[1] Later, when Bayek visited Aya's abandoned home in search of his wife, he found Ktesos' corpse, which had been left inside the house. Eventually, all marks of the violence were removed.[2]
