Map of Khensu Nome

Khensu Nome (English: Cow's Thigh) was a nome of Egypt, situated south of Sapi-Res Nome, east of Iment Nome and north of Giza.

During the 1st century BCE, the nome was largely unhabited due to its desert environment, save for an abandoned temple of Hathor which had been claimed by bandits.

Trivia

  • Historically, the city of Letopolis served as the nome's captital city. However in Origins, Letopolis is situated in Sapi-Res Nome
