"I am here on a mission of gallantry!"
―Jean Bernadotte, Désirée Desired

Jean-Baptiste Bernadotte (26 January 1763 – 8 March 1844), later known as Charles XIV John of Sweden, was a high officer in the French Army who later became the King of Sweden, founding a new dynasty.
