Isaac du Queyran, also known as Nicodemus, was a member of the Parisian Brotherhood of Assassins and a friend of Catherine. In 1609, after her burning as a witch, Nicodemus took in her daughter Margaux and trained her in the Creed.[1]
Behind the scenes
According to de Lancre's Tableau, Isaac was about 25 in 1609.[note 1] This is at odds with the implication that he is the 16-year-old Margaux's biological father.

- Isaac est effectivement plus âge que 25 ans dans le roman. Je n'avais pas à disposition le Tableau de de Lancre et n'avais pas accès à son âge de l'action. Dans le roman, il a autour de 40 ans.
- Nicodémus est seulement un pseudonyme qui permet au personnage de garder ses activités d'Assassin clandestines.
