Hrolfr Kjotvesson (died 872) was the younger son of Kjotve the Cruel and brother of Gorm.
Biography
In mid-872, Hrolfr accompanied his father and older brother to the southern mountains of Rygjafylke is search of treasure. After raiding a village, Hrolfr stayed behind to pillage what else he could. He was then cornered by three Vikings of the Raven Clan. Hrolfr taunted his clan's sworn enemies, that his father already had the treasure. The Vikings responded with force and overpowered Hrolfr, killing him.[1]
