Inagua is a district of the Bahamas comprising the islands of Great Inagua and Little Inagua.

In September 1715, after wresting control of the island from the French Templar, Julien du Casse, Edward Kenway established his base of operations in a decrepit manor on the island, which also formerly belonged to du Casse.

Over the course of the next 7 years, Edward renovated the manor and the nearby village which it presided over, as well as collecting 5 keys to unlock a special set of armor which was worn by a skeleton in a cell inside the manor.

Following the British reconquest of Nassau in 1718, Great Inagua became the new base of the remaining pirates of the West Indies.

Before leaving the West Indies to return to England with his daughter in October 1722, since most of his fellow pirates were either dead or had surrendered to the British, Edward sequestered the island to the Assassin Mentor Ah Tabai and his former quartermaster, Adewale to use as a base.
