Gavorrano is a mountain-side comune in Tuscany, Italy, bordering the town of Massa Marittima.[1]

In the early 1500s, a group of Templars from the Crown of Aragon passed through Gavorrano on their way to Siena. However, condottiero Micheletto Corella, who was already in town, had a rivarly going with one of the travellers, Lord Captain, and had his men ambush the group, though they managed to escape.[2]
