Fort Alphonso

Fort Alphonso was a fort located in New Castile, Spain. During the 15th century, the fort was used as a base for the Inquisitors.

In 1489, the Spanish Brotherhood of Assassins sabotaged supplies meant for the fort in the region.^[1] They later sent 3 members to infiltrate the fort and assassinate the executioner Pedrosa and commandant Duran, who were responsible for executing Horacio de Heredia's family.^[2]
