Elena Niccolini was an Italian seamstress and a member of the Italian Brotherhood of Assassins who lived during the 15th and 16th century.

Biography

Born in Venice in 1458, Elena's father Marco was a high-ranking commanding officer in the Venetian military at the time while her mother Natalia was a talented seamstress. Natalia died early while Elena was young, but not before teaching her daughter everything she could about her craft. Over the years, Elena spent her time honing experience by crafting and repairing uniforms for her father.[1]

In 1476, Elena and her father moved to Florence, where she opened her own shop with her father's support. One day, Elena's shop was visited by Claudia Auditore from the prominent Auditore family and a member of the Italian Assassins. Impressed with Elena's work, Claudia became one of her regular patron and later on recommended her to the Italian Assassins, which she joined.[1]
