Dymnos

Dymnos (unknown – 48 BCE) was a Greek individual who entered the services of Apollodorus, serving as the Master of Arms at his estate in the Kanopos Nome.[1]
Biography
In 48 BCE, Dymnos approached Ruia, who was retrieving a letter from the pigeon coop for the estate's steward Pelias. He requested her to read a letter for him, however when she refused, Dymnos angrily pushed her off the pigeon tower, unknowngly causing her to fall to her death. Unbeknownst to Dymnos, Ruia was able to took his badge as she fell without him noticing. In an attempt to cover up her death, Dymnos hid her body in a cart of haystack nearby.[2]
Ruia's failure to return led Pelias to send the Medjay, Bayek, to retrieve the letter and investigate her disappearance. Bayek returned to Pelias with her body and they discovered Dymno's badge on her, linking her death to him. Confronting Dymnos in the armory, Bayek was forced to defend himself and killed Dymnos, who acknowledged his murder and Ruia and attempted to silence Bayek.[2]
