Dogan bin Arslan

Dogan bin Arslan (died 860s) was an Abbasid captain who worked under the Warlord Wasif Al Turki alongside Turkic commanders Jasoor ibn Basil and Nadir ibn Havid in Sharqiyah, all of whom were members of the Order of the Ancients. As their ally, Dogan worked against the Zanj rebels led by Ali ibn Muhammad, aiding in the capture and execution of the rebels.[1]

Trivia

  • Dogan's in-game character model is that of a Turkic Army captain dressed in cyan robes despite his image in the Investigation section showed him in red instead. His given name means "falcon" or "hawk" in Turkish,[2] while his surname Arslan variously means "fearless", "warrior", or even "lion" in Turkic.[3]
