Bayezid District
The Bayezid District (Turkish: Beyazıt) was one of the four major districts of Constantinople during the Renaissance. The merchant center of the city, it housed the historic Forum of the Ox and the Arsenal.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The district was likely named after the Ottoman Sultan Bayezid II, who reigned when Ezio Auditore visited the city.[1]
