The Lustrous Pearl was a naginata that Yasuke obtained in 1582. That year, Yasuke and fellow Kakushiba ikki member Fujibayashi Naoe were approached by Genpaku, who asked the pair to eliminate a group of Oda clan soldiers who were pretending to be yamabushi and killing innocents in the region. While investigating the Path of the Chosen in Kii, Naoe confronted one of these imposters and assassinated him, retrieving the weapon from his effects.[1]
