Path of the Chosen
The Path of the Chosen was a course constructed by the Kakushiba ikki in eastern Kii, Japan. Its route led to a former Assassin outpost.[1]

In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki member and shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe discovered the route after following the notebook of Master Assassin Alvaro Catarribera. While traversing through the route with her grappling hook and climbing skills, she noticed dead bodies along the route[1] and surmised that a yamabushi imposter found the route as well. At the end of the route, she confronted and ultimately killed the imposter and retrieved the naginata Lustrous Pearl from his personal effects.[2]
Looking around the camp, Naoe read a sign that had one of the Creed's tenents written on it, "We are the shadows who serve the light." She later found a letter from the past Assassin Kishi about two potential recruits heading to Iga to prove their worth to both Momochi Sandayu and Naoe's mother Tsuyu. Upon further inspection, she later acquired the hood that once belonged the league member Yu-no-shin from a treasure chest.[1]
