Nimlot's Estate
Nimlot's Estate was an opulent farmhouse belonging to the merchant Nimlot, located in southeast AlUla Oasis.
History
In the 860s, after the robbers took over the Warehouses, Hind, whose house was part of the complex, requested Basim ibn Ishaq take her to Nimlot's Estate for her own protection, as the thieves were known to eliminate witnesses. There, Nimlot welcomed Hind in, sending some of his men to guard her home, and she would later send word for her children to join her there.[1]
In the nearby palm farm, Basim recovered a stolen item from one of the robbers' hidden caches. After retrieving all items he could find, Basim returned them to Hind at the estate, who, in turn, gave them back to their rightful owners.[2]
