Berenice II of Egypt (c. 267 or 266 BCE – 221 BCE) was a Greek noblewoman who reigned as Queen of Cyrene during the 3rd century BCE. The daughter of Magas, she was also the half-brother of Ptolemy II and later reigned as queen of Egypt through her marriage to Ptolemy III Euergetes. A statuette of her was excavated from the site of the Acropolis of Cyrene.[1]
