Do not add speculations of any kind. Only facts from verified sources are allowed. Any suppositions added here will be deleted.
Assassin's Creed IV is the theoretical title of the next installment in the Assassin's Creed series. While Assassin's Creed IV has not been officially announced, Ubisoft has made several statements about future installments. Amongst these are that the next game does not have to be set after Assassin's Creed III's American Revolutionary War setting,[1] and that settings such as World War II, Feudal Japan and Egypt are not likely to be featured as they are considered "boring" and unoriginal for Assassin's Creed.[2] An interview with Assassin's Creed III's scriptwriter Matt Turner gave a probable release date of 2013 or 2014 for Assassin's Creed IV.[3]
