Assassin's Creed: The Chain is an installment of the Assassin's Creed series in graphic novel form, and concludes the connection of Daniel Cross to Nikolai Orelov, as the two were first introduced in Assassin's Creed: The Fall. [2]
Whereas The Fall was first published by DC WildStorm as monthly comic issues, The Chain will only be available to pre-order through Ubiworkshop. The comic will also have a link with Assassin's Creed III.[3]
The Chain began with Nikolai and his son, Innokenti Orelov, eating dinner inside their forest cabin. Once Innokenti began to talk in Russian, he was reminded by Nikolai to speak English, as they were currently in America. Following this, the two proceeded to go hunting, and Innokenti began climbing the trees to sneak up on his father.[4]
The Deluxe Edition of Assassin's Creed: The Fall included ten extra pages that acted as a prologue to Assassin's Creed: The Chain.
