Assassin's Creed: Black Flag is a novel written by Oliver Bowden, released in the UK on 7 November 2013 and the US on 26 November 2013. The novel focuses on the events of the game of the same name.[1]

Plot summary
Part 1
1-(1719 or thereabouts) Due to the Jackdaw's need for a proper cook, Edward and the crew hunted down a brig known for its famous cook. He eventually found him and discovered he had cut off his nose during the fight.
2-(1711) Edward retold his days as a young sheep-farmer and an occasional drinker in Bristol's taverns. Despite his father and mother's successful sheep business, Edward preferred to spend his time drinking.
