Valley of the Nobles

The Valley of the Nobles is a series of tombs in the Theban Necropolis, located south of the Valley of the Kings. As it's name suggests, it houses the remains of various Egyptians officials and nobles who served in the royal court. Examples included Amenhotep called Huy and Qen, who both served during the Eighteenth Dynasty.

In the 1st century BCE, the valley, like others in the necropolis, were desecrated and looted by bandits, some of which made it their camp site. In 38 BCE, the Hidden One Bayek of Siwa visited the valley, witnessing the desecration conducted by the bandits. He went on to eliminate some of the bandits at the camp and looted their valuables.[1]
