Sierra de Cazorla is a mountain range in the Province of Jaén in southern Spain.
During the Granada War, the region lay within the territory of the Emirate of Granada and was the location of an Assassin fortress which served as the primary base-of-operations for the Spanish Brotherhood in 1491.[1]
