Senu was a female Bonelli's eagle[1] who resided in the Ptolemaic Kingdom during the 1st century BCE. She was a loyal companion of Bayek, the former Medjay of Siwa and a co-founder of the Hidden Ones.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Bayek befriended Senu some time before 49 BCE and the two formed a close bond. This friendship extended to Bayek's son Khemu, though the boy on occasion would mistakenly refer to the eagle as a "he". At one point, Khemu's friend Chenzira tried to get him to steal Senu's feathers, telling him hat Senu's feathers would ensure his passage into the Field of Reeds, though Bayek scoffed at the notion.[2]
After Khemu was killed in 49 BCE, Bayek abandoned his Medjay duties and left Siwa to seek revenge on the Order of the Ancients, who were responsible for Khemu's death.
