Rubbayat Necropolis composed of several tombs.

Rubbayat Necropolis was a tomb in Faiyum Oasis south of Philadelphia, situated in the base of a mountain of Haueris Nome. Its courtyard comprised of a statue of Serapis along with a few market stalls. One of the tombs that was guarded by Greek soldiers contained a chest of questionable contents hidden behind a tombstone. In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa raided the place after eliminating the guards,[1] then read two notes he found, one praising Serapis[2] and the other instructing the soldiers to catalogue the tomb's contents and seal the entrance.[3]
