Pothinus (c. 90s BCE – 47 BCE), also known as The Scorpion, was a eunuch and regent for Pharaoh Ptolemy XIII of the Ptolemaic dynasty. He was also a member of the Order of the Ancients during the reign of Cleopatra.

Pothinus was killed by Bayek of Siwa in 47 BCE, during the Battle of the Nile, alongside his war elephant.
