Paanchi was a member of the Hidden Ones who served alongside Tahira in the Sinai during the reign of Cleopatra.

Biography

In 38 BCE, the Hidden One Mentor Bayek travelled to the bureau in Klysma Quarry in order to assist Tahira against the Romans.[1] In the bureau, Bayek met with Paanchi, who reported that one of their fellow Hidden One, Osorkon, had gone missing for two weeks while being tasked to survey the quarry. He directed Bayek to a merchant ship at the docks, where Osorkon was last seen.[2]

After the moving of the bureau from the village to mountains in Arsinoe Nome, he got into contact with local farmers in order to acquire bales of hay and carts for leaps of faith.[1]

Behind the scenes

Paanchi shares the same name with the Kushite king later known as Piye, who founded Egypt's 7th century BCE Nubian Dynasty.
