Mentuhotep II (died c. 1995 BCE), also known under his prenomen Nephepetre was an Egyptian pharaoh, the sixth ruler of the 11th Dynasty from c. 2061–2010 BCE. In c. 2022 BCE, in his thirty-ninth regnal year, he changed his titulary to Shematawy.
Legacy
In Mentuhotep's mortuary temple in Deir el-Bahari, a relief of the pharaoh and the goddess Hathor is present.[1]
