Madoka was a Japanese woman who lived in the village Fushimi.
Biography
During the Boshin War, Madoka was lucky enough to find and marry fellow villager Keitaro. They soon commenced the celebrations, especially welcoming peddlers Atsuko and Ibuka to join the village in their festivities. When the peddlers agreed, they all spent the night drinking or telling stories or jokes to celebrate. [1] When the next day came, however, her life was jeopardized when Ibuka poured poison into the village's well.[2]
