Lucius Septimius (c. 90s BCE – 44 BCE), also known as The Jackal, was a Roman Gabiniani stationed in Alexandria to protect the Ptolemaic kings and queens. He was a leader of the Order of the Ancients and also the killer of Pompey in 48 BCE.
