Louis-Joseph d'Albert de Luynes was a French aristocrat and a member of the Assassin Brotherhood.
At some point before the French Revolution, D'Albert and three other Assassins were sent by the Mentor to recruit a skilled epeist and singer called La Maupin, but due to D'Albert's vanity and misogyny a fight erupted. The three Assassins were defeated and La Maupin put her sword through D'Albert's shoulder, and the group left to make their report.
