Livius was an informant for the Order of the Ancients during the reign of Ptolemy XIII.

Biography

In 48 BCE, Livius was involved in a plot with a fellow member, Lucius Septimius and a Gabiniani, Venator, to assassinate Cleopatra in Herakleion. While snooping around the villa where Cleopatra was staying, Livius was captured by Apollodorus, who had him beaten and interrogated for information. Livius was forced to reveal several details of his involvement and was later brought to Cleopatra and the Medjay Bayek of Siwa.

Bayek further beat up Livius, having believed he knew who was responsible for the death of his son, Khemu, a year ago. Before he was taken away, Livius revealed the location where the plot was taking place: a brothel in the city. Namely that of Helen, where Livius had bought the 'legendary twins'.[1]
