Keitaro was a Japanese man who lived in the village Fushimi.
Biography
During the Boshin War, Keitaro became engaged to fellow villager Madoka. They soon celebrated with their village, even inviting peddlers Atsuko and Ibuka to stay for the festivities. When the siblings agreed, they all drank or told jokes and fables to pass the time. [1] However, when the next day came, his life was endangered when Ibuka poured poison into the village's well before he and Atsuko left.[2]
