"I know not if our famous ancestor ever returned to his beloved Persia after his betrayal, but I thought I would return this etching of his blade to his native shores, and to you."
―Itamos in a letter to Roshan, 862.[src]-[m]

Itamos (Greek: Ίταμος) was a Greek Hidden One active during the mid-9th century.

Biography

During the 860s, Itamos maintained contact with his fellow Hidden Ones operating in Persia, in particular Roshan, a Master Assassin of the Alamut Brotherhood.[1]

At some point before 862, Itamos came across a sketch of a Hidden Blade belonging to Darius, a 5th century BCE Persian assassin and predecessor to the Hidden Ones. Believing it made sense for the sketch to be returned to Darius' homeland, he sent it to Roshan, alongside a letter in which he pondered whether Darius had ever returned to Persia[1] following his allies' betrayal.[2]
