History
Renaissance
During the Italian Renaissance, the Assassin Order founded a guild in India, with the intention of keeping an eye on the harbor and the international rulers that had taken interest in the country.[1]
However, Manuel I of Portugal had also taken interest in India, and he soon sent Pedro Álvares Cabral's fleet to Calicut, where the Assassins' guild was based.
