Gyrid Olafsdottir of Sweden (born c. 932) was a Swedish princess and queen consort to King Harald Bluetooth of Denmark. She was the daughter of King Olof Björnsson of Sweden.

Biography
In 985, Gyrid joined her brother on the voyage to Jomsborg to gain the army of Jomsvikings in his quest for vengeance against their uncle. With being the children of a former king, they entered Jomsborg despite warriors nearly stopping them. When Styrbjörn announced an audience with their leader Palnatoke, they were escorted to meet him. Upon meeting, Gyrid watched as Styrbjörn challenged Palnatoke to a duel to gain leadership of his Jomsvikings.[1]
After Styrbjörn beat Palnatoke, he laid his next goal to invade Christian king Harald Bluetooth.[2] With Palnatoke and his Jomsvikings, they sail to Jutland where she will claim its kingdom as her brother will claim Sweden's. Arriving at its shores, they saw Harald and his children resigned at this meeting.[3]
Within their initial meeting, Harald took Gyrid as his wife but did not lend his army to Styrbjörn. In retaliation, Styrbjörn led his army to victory over the sea and had Harald surrender to his axe.[4] After the battle, Gyrid conferred with Styrbjörn over his plan to take back Uppsala and forced her husband Harald to accompany him to ensure that his army will follow Styrbjörn.[5]
