Gaia Afrania (died 48 BCE) was a wealthy Roman woman born into the gens Afrania, a a plebeian family from Rome.
History
During the 1st century BCE, she owned villa in Memphis, Egypt.
In 48 BCE, while on her way to Alexandria, Gaia was assassinated by the Medjay, Bayek, aboard her trireme in the Nile river.
