Dirham

The dirham is a currency that originated historically as a silver coin, eventually becoming the currencies of modern countries such as Morocco and the United Arab Emirates.[1]

During the Medieval period, dirham was used as currency by Islamic states in the Middle East, such as the Abbasid Caliphate.[2]
