Alexis (died 403 BCE) was an Athenian soldier who served in General Thrasybulus' revolt against the Thirty Tyrants.
Biography[edit | edit source]
During the Battle of Munychia, Alexis was fatally wounded when the Spartan army uncharacteristically attacked the Athenian flank, deviating from the standard "Spartan way" of a frontal assault. Although Alexis killed the soldier who had injured him and received some first aid afterward, he succumbed to his wound and died.[1]
