Pelagios was a Spartan soldier who was stationed at Phyle, Attika.

Biography

In 404 BCE,[1] the Athenian military's general Thrasybulus revolted against the Spartan Thirty Tyrants' oppressive rule of Athens and took the fort at Phyle. Pelagios retreated from the fight with minor injuries and passed word of the attack to a soldier he was friendly with at Munychia Fort, saying that Thrasybulus' army was 10,000 men strong.[2]
